Manufacturing requirements in this sector

High volume, tight tolerance. At hundreds of thousands of units, every point of defect rate translates directly into cost. The production line and test process are structured for this scale.

Compact design. Where boards must fit inside a small housing, layout, heat distribution and component height become critical. Double-sided assembly and miniature components address this need.

Thermal management. In kettles, toasters and hair dryers the board operates close to high temperatures. Component temperature class and board layout are determined accordingly.

Mechanical durability. In products carried, dropped and used frequently, solder joint strength and connector selection determine product life.
