Fire detection and alarm systems are among the product groups that demand the highest discipline in electronics manufacturing. These boards sit idle for years and have to work correctly on a single day.
At ESPO Electronic we manufacture products in this class: addressable and conventional fire alarm panels, optical smoke and heat detectors, manual call points, loop modules, isolators, and audible and visual warning devices.
Traceability. For life safety class products, the batch, the components and the line on which each board was produced are all recorded. When field feedback arrives, it can be traced back to the specific batch.
Component selection. In a device that has to sit and wait for years, capacitor life, temperature tolerance and long-term supply continuity are assessed at the design stage. Our alternative component sourcing work addresses this need.
Test discipline. Every board produced goes through functional testing. In fire detection products, sample testing is no substitute for testing each unit.
Standards compliance. The EN 54 series defines separate requirements for each component of fire detection equipment — EN 54-2 for the control panel, EN 54-4 for the power supply, EN 54-7 for smoke detectors, EN 54-5 for heat detectors, EN 54-11 for manual call points, and EN 54-3 and EN 54-23 for warning devices. The production process is built around these requirements.
The manufacturing discipline we have built in fire safety electronics carries over into everything else we do. A line capable of producing a life safety class product holds the same standard for industrial and commercial products.
Sales, project installation and periodic maintenance of the fire detection and alarm systems we manufacture are carried out in Türkiye by Yansis. For site surveys, system design, installation and commissioning, please contact Yansis.
If you would like fire safety products manufactured for your own brand, or an existing design taken into production, our technical team is available to discuss it.
